Description
While doing an in-depth study of Farid al-Atrash’s sentimentality and his method of formulating his musical school, Renee Hage realized that his phenomenon is unique stemming from the depth of humanity. Through different musical examples, she discovered that the phenomenon of Farid al-Atrash is not circumstantial, but rather an embodiment of cumulative generations gathered at the time of the oriental musical sophistication in the classical Egyptian era. This made Farid al-Atrash the only Arab musician to have risen on international platforms.
