Elyssar Press is currently accepting full manuscript submissions. We are looking for compelling, high-quality work to add to our publishing slate.
Please review the following guidelines carefully before submitting your work.
Submission Window
Open Date: March 1, 2026
Close Date: April 15, 2026
Note: Submissions received outside of this window will not be reviewed.
What We Are Looking For
Accepted Genres: Creative Non-Fiction/Narrative Non-Fiction, Poetry, Fiction, Anthologies, Children’s Books
What We Do Not Accept: Partial or unedited drafts
Formatting Requirements
To ensure our reading team can easily review your work, please adhere to standard manuscript formatting:
Submit your full manuscript as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file.
Use a standard, readable font (e.g., Times New Roman, 12pt).
Double-space the text.
Include page numbers.
Ensure the title of the work and your author name are on the title page.
Submission Materials
Please include the following in your submission:
Author Info: Include a brief author biography, any relevant publishing history or credentials, and your contact information.
Synopsis: A short outline or overview of the manuscript.
Full Manuscript: The completed, polished work.

Response Time
We review every submission carefully. Please allow 8–12 weeks after the close of the submission window for a response. If you have not heard from us by that time, you may follow up via email.
